We are a travel agency focused on family travel. We have experience with immediate and extended family group travel. Our goal is to plan the perfect magical vacation for YOUR family.
Teddy Bear Travel was founded in 2020 by Kathy Barkauskas. After working for another agency for several years she decided it was time to create her own agency. Kathy has traveled extensively throughout her life and was excited to help others plan their perfect trips.
The agency was named in memory of her father in law, who also loved to travel. In his youth he would organize trips for friends and call them “teddy bear” trips. Now we plan trips for all of our family, friends and their friends and family through Teddy Bear Travel.

As the owner and founder of Teddy Bear Travel my goal is to create magical memories for your family, like I had in my youth. I had the honor of growing up traveling extensively. We visited Walt Disney World nearly every year and as we grew up our travels expanded to include many other destinations. I’ve been to 40 of the 50 states, over 30 countries and 5 continents. I became a travel agent after I started a family of my own. After my first Walt Disney World trip with my family I knew I wanted to help others create that magical experience too. We travel on a regular basis to Disney destinations like Disney Cruises, Disneyland and Walt Disney World. We also love all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, our favorite is Beaches Turks & Caicos. We also have big plans to take our family to Europe, Australia and Asia as our kids grow up a bit.
I’m excited to work with you on YOUR perfect trip! I have extensive knowledge of family travel, including extended family and I enjoy putting it to work for my clients. I’ve planned Disney destination vacations for anywhere from 2-20+ with all the little details you may not know on your own!
